You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. Responsibilities: • Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations • Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including briefs, RFEs, motions, and USCIS applications. • Conduct legal research and analysis for hearings, EOIR proceedings, and client consultations. • Advise clients on legal strategies and solutions to resolve conflicts in their cases. • Collaborate with associates and clients to ensure efficient case management and timely resolution. • Perform pre-sale consultations, assess eligibility, and address client qualification inquiries. • Handle client communications professionally through email, phone, and in-person interactions. • Stay updated on immigration law changes, participate in training, and uphold confidentiality and data protection standards. Qualifications: • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients • Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA) • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school • Candidates must have passed the bar exam • At least 3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, preferred with expertise in Immigration Law • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Active bar license in good standing from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico. • Fluent in Spanish (preferred). • Ability to work in-office at the firm’s Vista, CA location. • Must be able to handle the emotional and mental demands of working with sensitive immigration cases. Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 yearly
