Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in providing general counsel and engaging in general litigation. This role requires comfort in the courtroom, an attention to detail, and a desire to assist creditors in securing their rights. The Associate Attorney will work closely with clients, providing legal advice and representation while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role will require frequent court appearances and a diverse practice with varied legal problems and issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including contracts, covenants, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations across various legal matters including general civil litigation and collection matters on behalf of creditors.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases while managing a caseload independently.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress through effective legal administrative practices.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in all documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to run and manage client meetings effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
