Associate Attorney – Elder Law & Estate Planning (No Prior Experience Required)

Overland Park, KS (Hybrid/Flexible)

We are a boutique law firm based in Overland Park, Kansas serving the entire Kansas City area with a dedicated focus on elder law, estate planning, and long-term care planning. Our mission is to guide clients through some of life’s most sensitive transitions with skill, compassion, and clarity. We pride ourselves on a team-oriented environment, long-term relationships, and a deep commitment to doing what’s right for each client.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a full-time associate attorney to join our growing practice. You don’t need to have experience in elder law or estate planning; we can train you. What we need is a smart, empathetic, driven attorney who thrives on solving problems and building trust with clients.

• Licensed (or soon to be licensed) to practice law in Missouri and Kansas
• 0–5 years of legal experience
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• A genuine interest in working with older adults, families, caregivers, and special needs individuals
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, self-starter

What You’ll Do

• Advise and represent clients in estate planning, Medicaid planning, and guardianships (training provided)
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
• Attend client meetings and court appearances
• Collaborate on complex cases with senior attorneys
• Build long-term relationships with families and care community professionals
