Associate Attorney – Estate Planning & Probate Tarleton Law Firm PLLC | Dallas Area, Texas

We handle the full range of estate planning matters—revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and deed preparation—as well as probate administration, trust administration, and business planning. The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team in a hands-on role with direct client responsibility. You'll draft documents, represent clients in probate proceedings, and advise on a broad range of estate planning and administration matters. Experience in business formation, transactions, or real estate is a plus and opens additional work within the firm.

Full-time candidates are preferred, but part-time arrangements will be considered for the right applicant.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, directives to physicians, and related planning documents
• Represent clients in Texas probate courts and prepare all associated filings
• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, trust administration, and post-death asset transfers
• Prepare real property deeds and coordinate recording
• Assist with business formation and transactional matters as needed
• Manage client communications and maintain organized matter files

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, or trust law
• Demonstrated drafting ability and strong attention to detail
• Professional client communication skills—you'll interact directly with clients from day one
• Business formation, real estate, or transactional experience is a meaningful plus
