Responsibilities: • Design simple to complex Estate Planning packages that honor clients' needs & wishes utilizing Lipman’s Westlaw and Wealth Counsel from scratch for personalized and complex estates. • Review and draft comprehensive estate planning packages, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. • Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options. • Discuss plans with clients concerning incapacity, Medicaid planning, and distributing assets. • Conduct initial consultations for estate planning, probate, and Medicaid planning clientele, as necessary. • Must be comfortable with contemporaneously tracking and documenting time electronically. • Attend court hearings and oversee paralegal and legal assistant work on a wide range of probate, guardianship, and trust matters. • Communicate & engage with clients meeting in-person and virtually. • Proofread and write general and complex legal correspondence with clients. • Documentation and process systemization of drafting wills and trusts. • Have a strategic and results-oriented approach to solving Clients’ problems and communicating the same to Clients in an approachable and understandable manner. Qualifications: • Actively licensed in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. • Minimum five years of estate planning, probate, and guardianship experience. • Exceptional legal research and writing skills with a strong analytical aptitude. • Demonstrated presentation skills & a natural ability to engage with clients respectfully & confidently. • Spanish-speaking preferred. Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 yearly
