Haney Law, PLLC, a growing law firm based in Louisville, KY, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team. This role will be split between insurance defense and personal injury work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, and eager to grow their litigation experience in both practice areas. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking depositions, and handling hearings and trials. • Manage a docket of personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation. • Communicate effectively with clients, claims adjusters, and opposing counsel. • Maintain accurate case records and meet internal deadlines. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Licensed to practice in Kentucky and in good standing with the KY Bar. • Some experience in insurance defense is highly preferred. • 1–3 years of litigation experience (more experienced candidates also encouraged to apply). • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, focused team. Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 yearly
