Harper Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 3–4 years of experience to join our plaintiff personal injury team. This role is designed for an attorney ready to take substantial ownership of a pre-litigation docket, handle key aspects of case strategy, and drive results. You will work both independently and alongside senior attorneys, playing a critical role in maximizing case value and delivering strong outcomes for clients. Important Note: This is not a role for someone looking to coast. We are looking for individuals who want to work hard, grow fast, and make a difference. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys • Manage a significant personal injury docket (pre-litigation and litigation) from intake through resolution • Take and defend plaintiff, defendant, and expert depositions • Draft and argue motions, discovery, and pleadings with minimal supervision • Prepare and lead mediations and settlement negotiations • Attend and argue hearings independently • Develop and execute a case strategy to maximize recovery • Work up cases for trial, including coordinating experts and evidence • Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide case updates • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on higher-value or complex matters Qualifications: • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Successful completion of the bar exam Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 yearly
