We’re looking for an Associate Attorney, either a new graduate or someone new to Estate Planning and Probate, who is eager to learn and grow. In this role, you will receive mentorship from a board-certified attorney and work within a supportive, collaborative team where guidance and coaching are strong. You will have immediate responsibility for drafting documents, preparing filings, and supporting client matters, gaining hands-on experience from day one. Responsibilities: • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently • Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action Qualifications: • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school • Successful completion of the bar exam • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA) • Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills and time management • Self-motivated learner who is eager to develop expertise in Estate Planning and Probate • Self-starter who takes ownership of their work and consistently follows through to completion • Team player who collaborates effectively across roles and supports colleagues • Client-focused and comfortable guiding clients toward Estate Planning solutions with sincerity Compensation: $83,000 - $93,000 yearly
