As Associate Attorney II, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional legal services while building strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities: • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects • Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis • Represent clients in Estate Planning, Probate, and related legal matters. • Confidently manage your caseload with minimal supervision. • Draft, review, and edit legal documents. • Communicate with clients, attorneys, court staff, and paralegals with clarity and respect. • Nurture strong client relationships and consistently generate new business opportunities for the firm. • Participate in firm-wide growth through mentoring, lunch-and-learns, and community engagement. • Attend networking and marketing events (some evenings/weekends). Qualifications: • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Estate Planning and Probate. • Certification (or ability to obtain) to represent clients in Guardianship matters. • On track for Board Certification, or an advanced degree (LLM) preferred. • Comfortable with technology, case management software, and working within firmwide goals/metrics. Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000 yearly
