Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will be a Texas-licensed attorney with demonstrated success in handling complex personal injury litigation, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a personal injury caseload from inception through resolution, focusing on complex litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
- Lead written discovery, take and defend depositions, and participate in case strategy meetings.
- Engage in pre-trial preparation, including evidentiary hearings and trial exhibits.
- Effectively negotiate with defense counsel and insurance carriers to secure favorable settlements.
- Maintain clear, high-touch communication with clients, experts, and support staff.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
- Represent clients in court, including hearings, mediations, and trials.
Qualifications
Required:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in Texas in good standing.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in complex personal injury litigation with a track record of litigation involvement (depositions, hearings, negotiations, trials).
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to client-centered representation.
Preferred:
- Experience with catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
- Trial experience and comfort in courtroom advocacy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
