    Job Description

    Job Description

Kramer Law Group is seeking an attorney to join our growing personal injury litigation team. Come join us where you’ll have the opportunity to focus on doing high-value “attorney work” for those who have been seriously injured through no fault of their own, with a support team of case managers, litigation paralegals, and other litigation attorneys. Our practice areas devoted 100% to plaintiffs’ personal injury include trucking law, auto law, premises liability, and sexual abuse.

Our firm provides high-quality representation to injured clients while adhering to core values of: (1) integrity, (2) respect/professionalism, (3) urgency, (4) communication, (5) working smart, (6) continuous growth, and (7) preparation. We strongly believe in teamwork and strive to create a positive environment where attorneys and staff feel supported and empowered in getting our clients full and fair compensation.

Minimum qualifications include at least 2-years’ experience in personal injury, licensure (or ability to get licensure) with the Utah State Bar, demonstrated competency in proactive case development, regular client communication, discovery, discovery motions to compel, taking and defending depositions, legal writing and motion practice, preparing bullet-proof Rule 26 disclosures, developing the story with thorough plaintiff and damage witness preparation, finding and working with expert witnesses, court appearances, trial preparation and trial work, with occasional appellate practice.

As a core member of our litigation team, attorneys will use Filevine to keep the case on track, proactively manage litigation deadlines, file SODI’s where appropriate (usually in every case), and help develop compelling and winning cases for trial and/or settlement. This position will require frequent communication with clients, defense counsel, the court, insurance representatives, medical providers, and others involved in our clients’ cases.

Critical skills include a strong sense of advocacy for those who have been wrongfully injured, dedication to working as a team, being detail-oriented and highly organized, self-motivation, the ability to prioritize and stay on task, competency with Word and Adobe, good typing speed and accuracy, the ability to communicate clearly, to name a few. The ideal candidate will be personable and respectful with their clients, the team, and a jury, as well as being professional and efficient, requiring little supervision to get the job done right.

This is an in-person, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (potentially more depending on caseload and trial demands) position at our West Jordan office.

Pay: $110k-150k, depending on experience and qualifications, with additional incentives paid based on performance and rain making abilities.

    Benefits:

Health insurance (employee and immediate family) 100% paid, dental insurance, paid time off, 401k, 11 paid holidays and paid gym membership (use it or lose it).

To be considered, please send a cover letter with a current resume with the words “Associate Application” in the subject line.
