What You'll Do

As a Family Law Associate Attorney, you will take ownership of a diverse caseload and advocate for clients through some of the most important moments of their lives.

Responsibilities

Manage family law matters from intake through settlement or trial

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents

Represent clients during hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances

Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

Negotiate favorable settlements while advocating for clients' best interests

Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the legal process

Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff to achieve successful outcomes

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Active Texas Bar license in good standing

3+ years of family law experience

Experience handling hearings, mediations, and contested family law matters

Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compassionate and professional approach when working with clients facing sensitive family matters

Preferred Qualifications

Trial experience in family law cases

Experience with high-conflict custody disputes, divorce litigation, modifications, or enforcement actions

Proven ability to independently manage a caseload
