    About the Position

    The Law Office of Lawrence M. Centanni, P.C. is seeking a high-performing Associate Attorney with 3–6 years of experience in New Jersey real estate, landlord-tenant matters, and related litigation.

    This is not an entry-level or training role. We are looking for an attorney who can take ownership of files, operate independently, and deliver results.

    What This Role Requires

    This position is for an attorney who:

    Owns files from start to finish — not just tasks

    Can manage multiple matters simultaneously without handholding

    Is comfortable in court and able to handle appearances independently

    Understands deadlines are non-negotiable

    Communicates clearly with clients, adversaries, and the court

    Exercises sound judgment — knows when to act and when to escalate

    Core Expectations

    Full responsibility for assigned matters

    Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence

    Court appearances and litigation management

    Direct client communication and file strategy

    Coordination with staff and internal systems

    Strict adherence to internal deadlines and accountability standards

    Not a 9–5, task-only role

    Not a training or mentorship-heavy position

    Not a place for partial ownership of files
