About Us:
McCreary, Veselka, Bragg & Allen, P.C. (mvba) is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Litigation Department in Round Rock, TX. We represent a wide range of governmental entities across Texas and specialize in property tax collection and valuation litigation. This role is ideal for a lawyer with 3-5 years of litigation experience looking to take the next step in their career.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with managing attorneys and shareholders to manage litigation docket and general counsel matters
Independently manage a litigation caseload, handling cases from start to finish
Conduct legal research, draft motions, handle discovery, and prepare for trial
Regularly represent clients in court, conduct depositions, and engage in motion practice
Provide general counsel services as requested by clients
Who You Are:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Texas Bar License (required)
3-5 years of litigation experience (real estate or valuation experience preferred)
Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $145,000 per year
