Responsibilities: • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently • Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action Qualifications: • Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Successful completion of the bar exam • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients • Licensed attorney in good standing in Minnesota • 1-3 years of experience in family law and/or estate planning and probate Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 yearly
