    Our firm is seeking a passionate and dedicated consumer protection litigator to advocate for tenants living in unsafe or uninhabitable housing. The ideal candidate has experience independently managing civil litigation matters. This role is perfect for an attorney who thrives on meaningful advocacy, communicates effectively with clients and courts, and is confident in all aspects of litigation. Responsibilities: • Represent tenants in habitability and housing claims, ensuring their rights are protected. • Maintain strong client relationships through clear, compassionate, and frequent communication. • Develop case strategies and supervise paralegals and case managers. • Review lease agreements, building codes, and habitability laws to build strong and persuasive legal arguments. • Advocate against defendants seeking to minimize or avoid accountability. • Communicate regularly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and courts to advance cases efficiently. • Draft and file motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and legal briefs. • Conduct depositions, argue motions, and represent clients at hearings and trials. • Assist with firm growth through process improvements, system reviews, and staff mentorship. • Stay informed on housing law developments, community issues & events, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and ensure compliance with evolving laws. Qualifications: • Licensed to practice law in Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado Bar. • Previously serving as primary counsel with full responsibility for case management and strategic direction (this requirement may be met with prior civil clinical practice in law school). • Has participated in motions practice in a meaningful and substantive manner. • Ability to independently manage civil litigation matters from start to finish. • Proven track record of building strong client relationships through clear and compassionate communication. • Familiarity with lease agreements, building codes, and habitability laws. • Skill in developing case strategies and supervising legal support staff. • Experience in drafting and filing motions, pleadings, and legal briefs. • Ability to conduct depositions, argue motions, and represent clients at hearings and trials effectively and confidently. Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 yearly plus bonus incentives
