  • Responsibilities

    Victorium Legal Inc. is seeking an Attorney with 2–3 years of experience to support a growing docket with a strong emphasis on litigation. Our practice spans civil litigation, probate, estate planning, and tax controversy (tax litigation/audits). You’ll take meaningful responsibility from day one—drafting and arguing motions, handling discovery, managing client relationships, and contributing to strategy alongside senior attorneys. Responsibilities: • Draft pleadings, law-and-motion briefs, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements. • Appear at case management conferences, law-and-motion hearings, mediations, and (as opportunities arise) depositions and trials. • Conduct legal research and prepare concise, high-quality memoranda and client communications. • Manage case timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple matters. • Support probate and estate planning matters (e.g., probate petitions, trust/will drafting) and tax controversy matters (audits, protests, administrative appeals, and litigation). • Collaborate with partners and staff to drive efficient, client-centered outcomes. Qualifications: Required Qualifications • J.D. from an accredited law school. • Active and in good standing with the State Bar of California. • 1–3 years of legal experience in civil litigation, probate, estate planning, tax litigation/audits, or related fields. • Excellent research, analytical, and legal writing abilities. • Confident oral advocacy and client-facing skills. • Proficiency with legal technology (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, MS Office). • Strong organization: ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively. Strongly Preferred • Litigation and trial exposure (hearings, depositions, evidentiary motions, or trial prep). • Experience in one or more of: probate filings and administration; drafting trusts/wills; tax audits/appeals; or civil discovery and law-and-motion practice. Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000
