Boutique Plaintiff Complex Personal Injury Law firm in Lower Manhattan seeks an Associate Personal Injury Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in New York personal injury law and trial experience. (Applications without this experience will not be considered.) The role involves managing cases, drafting pleadings, filing motions and responses, appearing in court and handling the discovery process within a small team. The work balances trial and settlement activities, with opportunities to specialize by injury type, and requires regular court appearances. All candidates must submit a cover letter.

Eligible candidates have worked at least 5 years at a New York personal injury law firm and have trial experience. ** Responsibilities**

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions and other legal documents accurately and efficiently
• Appear in court throughout New York (driver license required)
• Conduct discovery, including gathering and reviewing evidence
• Collaborate with a small legal team to strategize case approaches

** Required Qualifications**

• 5+ years of experience in personal injury law (plaintiff or defense) in New York
• Trial experience
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Extensive personal injury law knowledge
• Trial experience with courtroom advocacy
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings
• Effective case management abilities
