Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior/Associate Business Analyst with experience in financial services to act as a liaison between Operations, Solutions, Product, and Development teams. In this role, you will analyze business needs, document requirements, and support the implementation of technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and mitigate risk. You will also run SQL queries, work with APIs, and assist in data extraction and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement product and process improvements.
• Document business and functional product requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Run SQL queries and interact with APIs to support data retrieval, validation, and reporting.
• Support custom reporting and file extraction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), document test cases, and validate system functionality.
• Educate operations teams on product features and solutions.
• Maintain an understanding of business operations, financial services, and client needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience or coursework in SQL and API interactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong customer service skills and a collaborative mindset.
