    The Opportunity

    As an Art Director/Associate Creative Director, you will lead the creative vision, design language, and execution of breakthrough content across Adobe’s global social channels. This role sits within Adobe’s in-house Social Creative Studio and is responsible for setting a high creative bar while ensuring brand consistency, cultural relevance, and platform-first storytelling. The Art Director/Associate Creative Director will partner closely with strategists, copywriters, designers, editors, and producers to concept and deliver compelling creative that drives engagement, brand love, and measurable business impact.

    What you’ll do

    • Lead the creative direction and visual development of social campaigns, activations, and evergreen content across Adobe’s portfolio.
    • Translate cultural and social insights into bold concepts that resonate with creators, creative pros, and broader audiences.
    • Craft and maintain Adobe’s visual identity across social channels, ensuring consistency while pushing creative boundaries.
    • Partner with strategists and producers to deliver campaigns that ladder up to product priorities and brand narratives.
    • Direct internal and external creative partners to deliver world-class assets-motion, design, photo, and video.
    • Ensure creative output is optimized for each platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, etc.) with an eye for emerging formats.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Product Marketing, Communications, and Influencer Marketing-to ensure cohesive storytelling.
    • Present creative concepts and campaigns to senior leadership with clarity and conviction.
    • Mentor and inspire the creative team, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and craft excellence.

    What you need to succeed

    • 8+ years experience as an Art Director (or equivalent senior creative role) within social, advertising, or creative agencies.
    • A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, art direction, and design execution across social and digital platforms.
    • Expertise in visual design, motion design, and emerging social formats.
    • Proven ability to develop creative that drives measurable engagement and strengthens brand reputation.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and presenting to senior collaborators.
    • Strong understanding of social culture, trends, and the creator economy.
    • Ability to balance big-idea thinking with fast-paced execution in a newsroom-style environment.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Passion for creativity, craft, and storytelling at the intersection of culture and community.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $89,600 -- $200,150 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
