Associate Dentist
We are seeking a skilled and independent Associate Dentist to join a private dental practice at 6708 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth TX 761315. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically confident dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fee-for-service and PPO-focused environment, utilizing modern digital dentistry workflows and a broad scope of procedures.
Job Summary
The Associate Dentist will provide high-quality, patient-centered dental care independently within a well-established private practice. This role requires proficiency across a wide range of general and restorative procedures, along with the ability to manage a full daily schedule with confidence and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a variety of dental conditions using digital dentistry tools and workflows
- Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, and implant restorations
- Complete extractions and anterior/premolar root canal treatments
- Design and deliver removable prosthetics tailored to patient needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Active, unrestricted dental license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a private practice setting
- Clinical competency in fillings, crowns, extractions, and anterior/premolar root canals
- Experience with implant restorations and removable prosthetics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in FFS/PPO-focused practices
- Prior experience with digital dentistry workflows and intraoral scanning technology
- Strong case acceptance and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, full-time clinical schedule efficiently
Technical Skills
- Digital dentistry workflow proficiency (intraoral scanners, digital imaging, CAD/CAM systems)
- Restorative dentistry: fillings, crowns, and bridges
- Endodontics: anterior and premolar root canal therapy
- Oral surgery: routine extractions
- Implant restoration
- Removable prosthetics design and fitting
- Strong clinical judgment and treatment planning skills
Schedule & Compensation
This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is structured as a daily guarantee of $800-$1,000 based on experience, or a percentage of production, whichever is greater.
