    The Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center has an exciting opportunity to join our hotel as the Associate Director of Sales. The Associate Director of Sales & Marketing for the hotel is responsible for assisting the Director in developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals, which include managing client relationships, driving sales efforts in specific market segments, and coordinating marketing initiatives. Key duties include forecasting revenue, analyzing market trends, overseeing the sales team, and collaborating with other departments to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Strategy and planning: Assist in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to meet property goals, including setting budgets and forecasting revenue. • Sales leadership: Support and manage sales activities, lead or mentor the sales team to achieve revenue targets, and often manage specific market segments, such as corporate or group sales. • Revenue maximization: Implement strategies to maximize rate, occupancy, and other revenue streams, and collaborate with revenue management on pricing and inventory. • Client and partner relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and local partners; this can include handling inquiries and executing sales presentations. • Marketing and promotion: Help oversee digital marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts to drive awareness and bookings; this involves managing collateral and potentially online review responses. • Market analysis: Conduct research on market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and make recommendations. • Internal collaboration: Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as operations, events, and revenue management, to ensure cohesive strategies and a positive guest experience. Qualifications: • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or hospitality is often preferred. • Proven success in sales, particularly in the hotel or hospitality industry. • Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Experience in managing sales teams and client relationships. • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies. • Familiarity with revenue management concepts.
