Job Description
As an Associate Industrial Engineer at Universal Studios Hollywood, you will combine field observation with data-driven analysis to support operational improvements across our park and guest experiences. A typical day blends analytical work with time in the operation. You may evaluate labor and operational performance using data, then partner with frontline teams to test and implement process improvements in a live environment.
You will help translate operational data into actionable insights that inform business decisions and drive measurable improvements across workforce management, process optimization, and overall operational effectiveness.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or project experience in industrial engineering, operations analysis, workforce management, or process improvement
Familiarity with workforce management, labor planning, staffing optimization, or forecasting concepts
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Experience in theme parks, hospitality, entertainment, retail, or other high-volume operational environments
Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new analytical tools, systems, and operational processes
