We are seeking the perfect match for a superior, strategic, creative Attorney with at least 5 years of prior experience in a family law firm in Texas. PLEASE NOTE: This is not an entry-level position. Responsibilities: This role in our firm is crucial to caring for clients in both a compassionate and efficient manner and to guiding them through our collaborative, cooperative approach toward a final resolution. The perfect applicant must be able to: • Proactively work in conjunction with the production team to ensure efficient client case handling • Effectively communicate with clients regarding case strategy, progress, and costs • Develop a strategy for achieving the client’s goals; craft unique, creative solutions in line with their core values • Prioritize, monitor, and facilitate daily workflows for yourself, other members of the production team, and support staff as it pertains to your client's case handling • Monitor case dockets, calendar, events, and deadlines; ensure tracking of and adherence to deadlines and timely completion of time-sensitive tasks • Advocate for clients in hearings, trials, conferences, and mediations in line with the firm's mission and the client's goals • Actively participate in developing and implementing case strategy and litigation plans using collaborative, creative techniques in a manner that supports the client's goals and core values • Timely review of client invoices to ensure accuracy, as well as ensure they reflect all case events; accurately record time asynchronously • Be open to being mentored and guided regarding continued professional development and growth • Participate in marketing activities, including networking opportunities and events, participating in potential client consultations, maintaining contact with former clients and lead sources as requested, and other marketing activities as requested • Attend continuing education seminars and workshops to further professional development and maintain CLE status; share resources with the team • Comply with all federal, state, county, and local laws, legal standards, codes, and regulations • Sustain membership in the area Bar associations and relevant practice groups as requested and approved • Comply with the firm's policies and procedures Qualifications: An Attorney at our Firm unequivocally has the following skills: • Highly collaborative in nature, proven ability to build a unified approach • Strong interpersonal skills in working with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and Firm members to foster a cooperative approach • Strong history of proactively moving client cases forward toward a timely resolution, minimizing conflict along the way • Demonstrated ability in collaborating with attorneys and paralegals effectively • Effective communicator, accustomed to maintaining open lines of communication with clients throughout their case • Adept at mediation and negotiation in a non-adversarial, collaborative, and creative manner, focused on solutions • Creator of innovative solutions unique to a family’s needs • Invested in personal and professional growth • Comfortable with the use of technology to boost efficiency and consistency • Receptive to feedback and additional professional training opportunities to hone skills • Quick-witted sense of humor to fit in with our highly spirited team • Capable of showing compassion and empathy to both clients and our team members Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 yearly + bonus
