    Associate Financial Planner

StaffBuffalo is working with a growing, client-focused wealth management firm to hire an Associate Financial Planner, paying $65,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial planning professional with 2–3 years of real-world experience who is ready to deepen their technical expertise while working closely with a collaborative team of Advisors.

This is not an Advisor role, but it offers strong long-term growth potential for someone who may want to pursue an advisory track in the future. This Associate Financial Planner will play a critical role in developing comprehensive financial plans, supporting client meetings, and ensuring all deliverables are accurate, thorough, and client-ready.

The firm offers a business casual environment, paid nearby parking, and a collaborative team of four Advisors and one additional paraplanner. This role follows a standard 40-hour work week.

If you have hands-on financial planning experience, enjoy working on a team, are comfortable in front of clients, and are interested in pursuing your CFP designation, this could be an excellent next step in your career.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Buffalo, NY.

    • Hands-on experience using eMoney or similar financial planning software strongly preferred

    • Bachelor’s degree required; CFP designation or active pursuit of CFP certification preferred

    • Strong understanding of holistic financial planning concepts, including retirement, investments, tax planning, estate planning, and insurance analysis
