What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough research, analysisand media monitoring to uncover insights that shape powerful communication strategies for our healthcare clients.
- Develop a wide range of high-quality written materials, including press releases, articles, social media content, client reports, and presentations for multi-channel campaigns.
- Support the execution of innovative PR and communication campaigns from concept through to completion, including media relations and reporter engagement.
- Provide administrative support to keep accounts on track, including managing note taking, action items, scheduling requests, and serving as a reliable point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, providing regular updates, and building strong relationships.
- Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance and project metrics, delivering actionable insights for optimization and future success.
- Stay current with policy news, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in public relations and digital communications.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a PR agency, in-house communications role, or government communications.
- Experience in health care, public health, HIV and cancer work a bonus.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, especially under deadline pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to use research to develop actionable insights for client programs and identify growth opportunities.
- Technology savvy, with proficiency in social media platforms, the Microsoft Suite, and familiarity with PR/communications tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Sprout Social, AI tools, Google Analytics, TV Eyes).
- Proven experience with media pitching, fostering reporter engagement, and conducting media monitoring.
- Experience in developing engaging social media content and comprehensive press materials.

This position is based in the Washington, D.C. area, and in office at least two days each week.
We believe in supporting our team and offer a generous salary and benefits package. The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000.
