Mid-Level Associate – Transactional Healthcare | Long Island, NY
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a mid-level associate with 3–4 years of experience to join its Transactional Healthcare Team in the Long Island, NY office. This is a prime opportunity to join a top-tier national corporate and healthcare practice
known for its excellence in mergers and acquisitions and emerging company work across both healthcare and non-Healthcare sectors.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience advising on M&A transactions, joint ventures, and other complex business and corporate transactions, including transactions involving healthcare companies, providers, and life sciences entities. Candidates should also be comfortable handling general corporate governance
and venture capital transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and equity transactions
Advise on transactions involving healthcare providers, payors, and life sciences organizations
Work with emerging growth companies
and venture capital clients
Assist with corporate governance, contracting, and general business counseling
Collaborate closely with other attorneys across multiple disciplines and offices
Participate in client meetings and help manage deal execution
Qualifications:
3–4 years of experience
in transactional law, with emphasis on M&A, joint ventures, and venture capital
Experience in healthcare and/or life sciences transactions
is strongly preferred
Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional judgment and client service mindset
Admission to the New York Bar
is required
Compensation:
Annual salary range: $190,000 – $220,000
Additional contingent compensation may be available based on performance, experience, education, and qualifications
