JOB DESCRIPTION
Supply Chain Analysts support our global logistics network to efficiently deliver products for our brands. Supporting areas include international transportation and operations, global trade compliance, supply chain strategy and coordination, e-commerce operations, global procurement and positions driving success within our world-class distribution centers. Our Supply Chain team synchronizes supply and demand, while measuring global business performance.
Our Supply Chain Management team is responsible for the planning, execution and monitoring of activities responsible for synchronizing supply with demand while measuring performance globally within our business. The Industrial Engineer oversees Labor Management Systems, Incentive Pay programs, and Continuous Improvement initiatives that support the priorities of the A&F Supply Chain and Distribution Network Capabilities.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to analyze building operations and make recommendations for corrective action
Work cross functionally with operations and other partners to implement continuous improvement solutions Conduct time studies and adjust standards as necessary
Maintain Manhattan's Labor Management System and GoalPost
Streamline existing operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness though on the floor observations and facilitation of improvement events and lead kaizen events with cross functional partners
Develop and implement training processes & documentation
Demonstrate experience with time and motion studies, development of standardized work, manpower estimates, and standard data
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BRING?
Collegiate degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a large scale highly automated Distribution Center operation required
Must be familiar with engineered labor standards and have previous experience with Labor Management System (LMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
PC experience to include Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Power Point
In depth understanding of LEAN practices with Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, communication and presentation skills required
Experience with SQL, R, Tableau, and other data mining and analysis tools preferred
