  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Summary

    Provides direct supervision of a Manufacturing work team responsible for the design, control, maintenance and calibration of assembly equipment and systems for production and testing. Plant wide management of all production equipment. Documentation of performance and reliability.

    • Assure proper function of production and test equipment.

    • Administer current specifications product changeover instructions.

    • Train all maintenance and production personnel in proper equipment functions.

    • Assure that spare parts are stocked to assure minimum downtime.

    • Assist Maintenance and Quality personnel in troubleshooting, calibration and repair of production and test equipment.

    • Assign and program all equipment electrical functions.

    • Establish good working relationships with maintenance and production personnel. Work closely with supervisors in all areas.

    • Schedule, prioritize, coordinate, and supervise work assignments of Assembly Maintenance Technicians.

    • Provide technical training and development for Technicians.

    • Support plant CIS and Safety Programs.

    • Design and implement cost reductions in Manufacturing through process and equipment improvements.

    • Bachelor in Engineering Technology
    • Exposure to a high volume manufacturing environment
    • Knowledge of automation techniques
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

    ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    • 2 years of relevant work experience
    • Project management experience
    • PLC knowledge
    • Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
