    Mid-Senior Level OSHA & Employment Litigation Associate – Los Angeles, CA

    Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking a Mid-Senior Level OSHA & Employment Litigation Associate with at least 4 years of experience to join their Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator with experience defending employers in workplace safety-related enforcement actions brought by Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, or other state OSHA plans, as well as employment litigation matters.

    ("osha" OR "workplace safety" OR "Workplace Investigations") AND litigation AND ("Los Angeles" OR "Santa Monica") 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Defend employers in workplace safety-related enforcement actions brought by Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, and other state OSHA plans
    • Manage employment litigation cases, including:
      • Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
      • Drafting and arguing motions and other legal briefs
      • Taking and defending depositions
    • Provide strategic advice to clients on OSHA compliance and workplace safety matters
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive legal support
    • Handle multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
    • 4+ years of employment litigation experience
    • Experience defending OSHA-related enforcement actions is required
    • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
    • Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-based environments
    • Active California Bar admission is required

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Base salary range: $220,000 - $260,000 (actual pay based on experience, skills, and internal equity)
