    360 Orthodontics is opening a new location in Oxnard, CA, starting January 2026.

    We are looking for Associate Orthodontist (1099 Contractor) who is ready to help us grow this office to a full 16 day / month schedule.

    This office will likely start out with 6 chairs, and - like our other offices - will use state-of-the-art equipment:

    iTero Scanner.

    Digital pano/ceph.

    Electronic patient records with cloud based practice management software.

    Highly automated consultation process with AI Smile Simulator technology included.

    Schedule Starting out will be 4 days per month. We are flexible on which day, but must be same day each week. Mondays and Sundays are not available.

    The opening days will grow from there as the patient base grows, we typically get an office to 16 days within 18-24 months. This is a prime location for our practice model so we expect the ramp up to be on the faster side:

    8 days per month within 6 months 12 days per month within 12 - 18 months. 16 days per month withing 18 - 24 months.

    Desired Start Date January 2026.

    Closed all major holidays.

    Qualified candidates are desired to have at least 1 year of experience in the private practice sector, an engaging personality, and a team-player attitude.

    Are You The Entrepreneurial Type? MSO Opportunity Available For This Location Interested in having more ownership of your practice rather than being a staff orthodontist?

    MSO is similar to a franchise (but not), and allows you to directly benefit from the revenue produced by the office, while at the same time receiving operations and administrative support that you desire, We are happy to discuss this location as an MSO opportunity as well.

    Duties will include:

    Diagnosis and Treatment Planning using Pan, Ceph, Photos and visual examination

    Orthodontic clinical skills (including but not limited to): Fit dental appliances in patients' mouths to alter the position and relationship of teeth and jaws or to align teeth (including but not limited to: Traditional Brackets, Band placement/removal, Invisalign, RPE’s, RPHG, Elastics, bonded retainers, etc.

    Adjust dental appliances to produce and maintain normal function

    Adjust dental devices or appliances to ensure fit

    Debond and glue removal

    Instruct dental assistants in orthodontic procedures and techniques

    Coordinate orthodontic services with other dental and medical services

    Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment

    Always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner

    Maintain regular attendance and adhere to treatment schedules

    Able to work both independently and in team settings

    Willing to participate in clinical meetings, new patient team meetings, leadership meetings, doctor meetings, full staff meetings, and provide feedback on departmental growth/performance

    Willing to read leadership and team building books to help contribute to the betterment of the practice

    Work under the direction of the practice manager, along with helping with treatment conversions and case acceptance

    Communicate with lead doctor about clinical treatment decisions

    Requirements:

    Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD)

    Certificate in Orthodontics from an accredited residency and California board credentials in good standing
