Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate, Pyxis Inventory - Supply Chain Management - Mineola.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for managing the deployed inventory in clinical locations using the Pyxis Inventory Management System. Onsite responsibilities include, replenishment, par level management, cycle counts, verification of expiration, and working daily with unit management to load and unload new/old supplies. Offsite responsibilities include inventory management for the Clean Room including replenishment from the bulk warehouse and non-stock orders. Fulfilling Pyxis orders and preparing them for delivery daily to all Pyxis units 7 days a week including weekend and holidays to support the clinical function of the hospital. Ensures all Pyxis are processed in a timely manner and with the constant awareness that the quality of the department's services have a direct impact on the institution's ability to provide excellent patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current and valid NYS Drivers License.
Communication skills (both oral and written) and customer service.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications especially Word and Excel.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials and or move up to 100 pounds regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
1- 2 years previous warehouse, materials, or inventory experience. 1 - 2 years Healthcare Supply Chain experience. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Inventory Management System and Pyxis Inventory Management System.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $51,046.77 - $54,364.81 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
