    Job Description

    About The Position

    The Regional Operations Associate plays a key role in supporting the execution, tracking, and coordination of regional operations and programmatic initiatives across KIPP’s network. Reporting to the Senior Director of Network Performance, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, tracking progress on key projects, supporting communication efforts, and ensuring smooth administrative operations that enable effective planning and execution across regions.

    As part of the Office of the President (OOP) Team, the Regional Operations Associate ensures that regional data, records, and operational processes are maintained with precision and that programmatic coordination efforts are well-organized and aligned with KIPP’s strategic priorities. This is an execution-focused role requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and administrative coordination to support regional and programmatic teams.

    Responsibilities

    The Regional Operations Associate will support key workstreams by executing assigned tasks and maintaining structured processes to ensure efficient regional operations and programmatic coordination.

    1. Project & Progress Monitoring
    • Track progress on key regional and programmatic initiatives, maintaining updated records and timelines.

    • Assist with special projects, such as regional communications, regional support execution, and board management, by managing logistics and tracking key milestones.

    • Support the coordination and execution of regional meetings, goal-setting processes, and planning sessions.

    1. Administrative & Logistics Support
    • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate logistics to ensure smooth execution of regional operations.

    • Assist with expense reporting, travel coordination, and event logistics as needed.

    • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, events, and planning sessions to ensure all necessary documents are available and accessible.

    1. Knowledge Management & Data Entry
    • Maintain accurate data entry and record-keeping for regional and programmatic work.

    • Support document organization and filing, ensuring that records are kept up to date and easily retrievable.

    • Assist in managing shared systems for knowledge management, ensuring all documents and resources are stored properly.

    • Provide support in compiling data-based updates for regional leaders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

    This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in ensuring that regional operations and programmatic coordination efforts are executed efficiently and effectively.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required

    • 0-2 years of work experience and an interest in education and development/fundraising

    Location

    It is preferred, but not mandatory for this role to be based out of a KIPP Foundation office. This role has the option of working from a remote office full-time. KIPP Foundation offices are in NYC and Chicago.

    Compensation and Benefits

    In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, and relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $65,000-$79,000. In addition, KIPP Foundation provides a variety of benefits to employees, including:

    • 25 holidays for + 18 days additional flexible PTO days (flexible PTO increases to 23 days for years 3 and 4 and to 28 days for years 5+).
