    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Planners are the strategic drivers of our product teams, shaping the inventory and financial strategy behind every product. Interpreting and balancing current sales, inventory analysis, financial goals, and emerging trends, our Reporting & Analytics Planners help generate the tools, reports, and analyses that maximize our product success and profitability.  Reporting & Analytics Planners partner with team members and cross functional partners to interpret, streamline, and synthesize data to drive business decisions, maximize efficiency, and creatively tackle existing and new challenges. 

    This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop reports, tools, & analyses to develop strategies, manage profitability, and react to change while making strategic decisions based on relevant KPI’s

    • Participating in corporate transformation projects by serving as the product facing teams’ representatives, ensuring that short, mid, and long term objectives are appropriately achieved.

    • Completing regular ad-hoc analysis to answer broader questions and/or deep dive into large amounts of data

    • Maintaining a continuous improvement mindset to evolve our current suite of reporting as well as generating new efficiencies for the broader organization

    WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

    • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience

    • 2+ years related experience

    • Passion for the A&F brands and the role

    • PowerBI, Tableau, and/or related experience is preferred

    • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data to generate conclusions

    • Prior merchandise planning experience is preferred

    • Ability to thrive in team-based settings and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners

    • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently with senior-level leaders

    • Ability to balance between robust analytical capability and an interest in the creative process

    • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment

    • Desire & curiosity to learn more
