Associate Veterinarian

An Associate Veterinarian at Cotswold Animal Hospital primary responsibility is to work with our pet parents to establish the best lifelong medical plan for their pet. This experience includes upholding the mission and values of providing high quality medicine that is personalized for each patient. We strive to create an environment in which all pet parents and team members feel valued, connected, have a sense of contribution, and feel like they are growing in their career. We understand that everyone comes from different backgrounds and may have different beliefs, but all pet parents and team members share the common goal of wanting pets to remain healthy and extend the human-animal bond.

Compassion and empathy for our patients, clients and other team members

Enjoys working with people and can stay calm in stressful situations

Enjoys working with animals and can safely handle them when they are stressed, ill, and injured

Is well spoken, and approaches job duties in a professional manner

Is experienced in team settings, willing to lead and give direction to others, but follow when needed.

Time management and willing to work independently

Education/Experience/Certifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited program

An active North Carolina State Veterinary License

An active or pending DEA license

An active USDA license
