About Us Noah’s Ark Veterinary & Boarding Resort is a privately owned, small-animal practice in Millersville, MD—centrally located between Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C. We believe in supporting our veterinarians so they can practice high-quality medicine in a comfortable, modern facility with a team that truly has their back.
You’ll work alongside credentialed technicians, skilled support staff, and a responsive management team that values kindness, communication, and accountability. Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned veterinarian, we value curiosity, a growth mindset, and a genuine appreciation for both animals and the people who love them.
What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a part-time veterinarian to help fill coverage gaps during our weekday operating hours of 8am–7pm (closed from 12–1pm for lunch). We're open to consistent or rotating shifts, short or long blocks—whatever fits your life and helps us round out the team.
This role is ideal for a veterinarian who prefers shorter shifts and values a schedule that fits their lifestyle, personal goals, or family commitments.
We currently have openings Monday through Friday, with high priority needs for:
Afternoon coverage (1pm–7pm or 3pm–7pm)
Morning shifts (8am–12pm or 8am–2pm)
Occasional Saturdays (8am–2pm, rotating and optional)

Responsibilities
Provide outpatient care, client consultations, and routine exams
Diagnose, treat, and manage medical cases
Maintain clear and accurate medical records
Collaborate with team members to ensure top-tier care
Surgical experience is a plus, but not required for this role
Qualifications
DVM or equivalent degree with active Maryland veterinary license (or eligibility)
DEA license required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A positive, reliable presence on the team
Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care
