What You’ll Do: You’ll lead stormwater and hydrology designs that matter—transforming complex challenges into sustainable, community-friendly solutions.
· Develop stormwater management designs and prepare hydraulic/hydrology calculations and studies
· Author Storm Water Quality Management Plans (SWQMPs) and intake forms for Standard and Priority Development Projects
· Create innovative preliminary stormwater strategies with cross-functional teams
· Design in AutoCAD Civil3D 2022, integrating BMPs with grading plans
· Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with local/state regulations
· Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
· Lead technical resubmittals, address agency comments, and manage project deadlines
· Assist in proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives
Your Qualifications: ✔ 5–7+ years of experience in civil or water resources engineering ✔ Licensed PE in California (or ability to obtain within 12 months) ✔ Proficiency in SWMM, AES, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office ✔ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills ✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor junior staff ✔ Familiarity with hydrology models, environmental review processes, and permit compliance ✔ Bonus: Experience with Microstation and GIS/mapping tools
