We’re looking for an Associate WordPress Designer + Developer who can think creatively and build technically. You’ll help plan, design, develop, and maintain custom websites for a range of clients—from local businesses to national brands.
What You’ll Do
Design and build custom WordPress websites that balance strong visual creativity with clean, scalable development
Translate brand guidelines and concepts into engaging, user-friendly digital experiences
Contribute to layout, UI/UX decisions, and overall site aesthetics
Develop custom themes, components, and functionality when needed
Build responsive websites using HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript
Collaborate with designers, marketing, and project team members
Manage CMS structure and admin UX (ACF or similar)
Build e-commerce sites (WooCommerce or similar)
Implement integrations (CRMs, APIs, third-party tools)
Optimize for performance, SEO, accessibility, and user experience
Maintain, update, and troubleshoot websites
Skills & Experience
Required:
3–5 years in web design and development
Strong WordPress experience (custom builds beyond basic themes)
Solid design sense (layout, typography, UX/UI)
Proficient in HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript
Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL
Experience with responsive/mobile-first design
Familiar with performance optimization and best practices
Experience with local/staging workflows
