    The Associate Worship Leader at Patria Church supports the execution of worship services and rehearsals across all Patria Church campuses. This role provides consistent weekly worship support at the Newport campus and assists at Corona and other campuses as needed to ensure alignment across locations. This role supports and executes worship & band recruitment, training, rehearsals, and service execution at all Patria campus locations. The position operates within a structured support function under the direction of the Worship Director. The Associate Worship Leader assists with vocal leadership, service preparation, and administrative coordination for the Worship Department. The role includes scheduling, communication, and ministry support tasks. The Associate Worship Leader supports consistency in worship experience, execution, and culture across campuses. The position contributes to clear service flow and team coordination. The Associate Worship Leader participates in worship sets and rehearsals as assigned. This role supports the creation of excellent and engaging worship environments. The position requires strong musical ability and responsiveness to direction. The role requires a commitment to execute with excellence and alignment to Patria Church standards.     Work Schedule and Daily Rhythm

    The Associate Worship Leader work rhythm that blends worship preparation, rehearsals, team communication, and weekend service execution across Patria Church campuses. Early in the week focuses on reviewing weekend services, organizing worship plans, preparing charts and tracks, and coordinating communication with worship team members and campus leaders. Midweek centers on rehearsals, vocal preparation, team development, and collaboration with the Worship Director to support consistency across campuses. This role regularly travels between Patria Church campuses to assist with worship rehearsals, weekend services, team support, and ministry coordination based on operational and campus needs. The end of the week focuses on final service preparation, scheduling follow-up, rehearsal execution, and readiness for weekend worship experiences. Weekend participation includes leading and supporting worship during services, assisting with transitions and service flow, and supporting worship environments that create engagement, excellence, and alignment across campuses. This role requires flexibility for evening rehearsals, weekend services, special events, conferences, holiday services, and additional travel between campuses as needed

    Worship Service Execution:

    Supports the execution of worship services and special events under the direction of the Worship Director.

    Participates in leading worship vocally as assigned during services and rehearsals.

    Assists with service flow, transitions, and overall worship experience execution.

    Follows direction for service planning and execution without independent oversight responsibility.

    Maintains readiness for all scheduled services, rehearsals, and ministry gatherings.

    Provides ongoing worship support across campuses, including consistent weekly presence at Newport and support at Corona and other campuses as needed.

    Helps ensure services and worship environments are executed with consistency and excellence.

    Worship and Band Team Support:

    Supports worship team members, vocalists, and musicians through preparation and participation.

    Assists with vocal arrangement execution and learning assigned parts.

    Contributes to a unified and collaborative worship team environment.

    Participates in rehearsals with preparedness, professionalism, and flexibility.

    Supports onboarding and integration of new team members as assigned.

    Coordination and Creative Support:

    Supports coordination of worship sets, rehearsals, and assigned ministry elements.

    Maintains clear and timely communication with the Worship Director and team.

    Assists with preparation of worship materials, setlists, and resources as assigned.

    Supports implementation of new worship songs and musical elements.

    Contributes creative ideas to enhance the worship experience as requested.

    Utilizes Patria Church systems and digital platforms for communication and planning.

    Provides administrative support to the Worship Department by assisting with scheduling, communication tracking, and coordination of ministry needs across campuses.

    Campus and Departmental Support:

    Provide consistent weekly worship support at the Newport campus and assist at Corona and other campuses as needed to ensure alignment across locations.

    Support the Worship Director and department with administrative responsibilities. Including scheduling coordination, communication follow-up, and preparation of ministry materials.

    Assist in maintaining organized systems for worship planning, including setlists, rehearsal coordination, and team communication across campuses.

    Reinforce consistency in worship execution while adapting to the unique needs of each campus environment.

    Support cross-campus collaboration by ensuring timely communication, follow-through, and alignment with Worship Department priorities.

    Education, Training, and Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Minimum of three (3) years of experience serving in a worship or music ministry environment within a church or ministry setting.

    Demonstrated experience supporting or leading worship in live service environments, including rehearsals and scheduled gatherings.

    Experience working within structured worship teams, including collaboration with vocalists, musicians, and production teams.

    Exposure to multi-campus ministry environments or the ability to adapt to consistent execution across multiple locations preferred.

    Experience learning and executing vocal arrangements, harmonies, and assigned musical parts.

    Familiarity with worship planning and scheduling tools such as Planning Center or similar systems preferred.

    Experience participating in or supporting service flow, transitions, and order of service execution.

    Ability to learn and effectively use Patria Church systems, communication platforms, and digital tools required for ministry coordination.

    Strong creative skills with the ability to take photos, film video clips, edit content, and write captions for social media.

    Organizational and Spiritual Requirements

    Member of the Patria Church (or willing to transfer membership to Patria Church).

    Pastors are required to attend all regularly scheduled Sunday and Wednesday church services. Support staff must attend at least one (1) regularly scheduled weekend church service.

    Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas services as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.

    Regular involvement in Patria Church activities, ministries, neighborhood groups, and events.

    Tithe 10% to the Patria Church.

    Physical Requirements
