Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to dogs and cats
Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and treatments
Conduct routine and non-routine small animal surgeries (based on experience and days worked per week)
Develop and communicate treatment plans with clients
Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and wellness
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Collaborate with technicians, assistants, and front-desk staff
Qualifications
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed in the state of California
Passion for small animal medicine and surgery
Strong communication and client education skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
