Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Billing A/R Specialist to join our growing team. Candidates must be well-organized and have the ability to multi-task. We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years experience in working medical A/R. Past experience in pain management billing is preferred.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review ERA's and mail batches on a daily basis for denied claims
• Use insurance portals to correct and resubmit claims as needed
• Create paper appeals when necessary to ensure payment
• Track and document all claim re-submissions and appeals
• Work with Billing Manager and Administration to communicate needed changes in provider coding or templates to decrease denials
• Research and understand LCD's in order to maximize reimbursement and avoid denials
• Experience with Prognocis and DME billing is a plus.
