Woodside Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator!

The Nursing Home Administrator administers, directs and coordinates all functions of the facility to assure that the highest degree of quality of care is consistently provided to the patients. Recruits and trains team members to create and maintain a highly functioning team environment and maintains high customer satisfaction.

** QUALIFICATIONS for the position of Nursing Home Administrator:**

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related subject is preferred
• Administrator’s license/certification
• Prior General Manager, Executive Director or Administrator experience within the health care industry
• Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses of at least $1M annually
• Previous sales or business development experience preferred--identifying and building local relationships to drive business as well as revenue maximization

** RESPONSIBILITIES of the Nursing Home Administrator include, but are not limited to:**

• Lead the development and implementation of all sales and operations strategies and tactics for the facility consistent with Citadel Care Center’s objectives.
• Regularly communicate performance with the Regional Vice President
• Actively partner with Marketing/Admissions to assess competitive threats, sales plan, and engage in census growth
• Understand the facility’s care regulations and support the patient care program by regularly meeting with the Patient Services Director to discuss and address concerns of the department
• Develop and implement successful strategies regarding labor, occupancy growth, revenue growth, expense control, and quality of services, and review and redirect activity, if necessary.
• Constantly assess patient needs and staffing levels
• Operate the facility in accordance with Citadel Care Center policies and federal, state and local regulations
• Assist in the development of operational budgets and capital requirements, including forecasting and approving all expenses
• Remain active in local facility activities. Establish networks and resources for patient referrals
• Assist in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process.
• Ensure adherence to the Patient’s Bill of Rights
