    Job Description

    WHAT THIS JOB ENTAILS: 

    The Logistics Warehouse Manager  helps in leading a team responsible for all aspects of Service Management, Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, Application Portfolio Management and Enterprise Process Governance. The role has significant interactions with all key leaders in Astreya. 

     

    SCOPE: 

    • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of a situation or data needs evaluation of multiple factors, including a familiarity with current business trends. 

    • Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes

    • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost

    • Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met

    • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements

    • Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers

    • Manage and develop logistics staff

    • Create and manage budgets

    • Follows processes and operational policies while selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. 

    • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. 

    • Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements.

    • May have budget responsibility

     

    YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage all aspects of Logistics Warehouse Management across multiple disciplines 

    • Implement and maintain Asset Management and Application Portfolio Management processes according to industry best practices

    • Ensure adherence to best practices providing the metrics and reporting necessary to drive behavior and provide continuous empirical improvement

    • Partner with technology leadership, business partners and vendors in delivering quality solutions to internal customers

    • Assist in departmental strategy, vision, and ‘best practice’ implementation

    • Utilize metrics to drive improvement and decision making within the team

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 8+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

    • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. 

    • Must be able to lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

    • Strong knowledge of ITSM and Asset Management best practices

    • Demonstrated program management experience 

    • Strong performance management processes and techniques

    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic work environment

    • Exemplary presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with senior management

    • Strong strategy development and execution experience

    PREFERRED:

    • Warehouse management software experience, 3pl a plus
