    Job Description

    YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Analyzes and provides supplier relationship management for key vendors
    • Deliver Request for Proposals (RFPs), Review/Analyst Vendor Proposals, and deliver Contracts
    • Leverages experience in IT Application Services Category - IT Project Development / Application Maintenance Support / SaaS implementation.
    • Will have primary responsibility for many commercial aspects of Software Suppliers and will be responsible for the management of given portfolio. Reporting to the Software Partner Manager
    • Effective communication, reporting and stakeholder coordination are essential delivery elements.
    • Ability to determine contractual/financial exposure/ negotiate contracts.
    • Knowledge of contracting trends, licensing models - traditional and emerging contract/vendor performance models.
    • Deep market knowledge of the category of Software vendors for the manager is responsible. (Application Svcs, SaaS, Consulting)
    • Ability to understand contract risks and to work with other parts of the organization in crafting tactics and strategies for risk mitigation.
    • Where applicable, understanding of government and industry regulations that will influence contracting approach and vendor behavior (for example, SOX, SECURITY).
    • Strong ability to communicate with IT users, legal and procurement staff, and business leaders to craft contracts that align complex needs with contractual requirements to achieve business outcomes.
    • Customer-focused approach to delivering contract management services to internal customers
    • Manage and optimize planning metrics, tools and reports.
    • Facilitate weekly operations meetings and follow up on actions.
    • Confirm MRP requirements to provide vendors with short and long term materials needs and forecasts.
    • Supports cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives. 
    • Complete special projects as assigned.
    • Provide testing support for new system tools
    • Submit email request, ticket, or buganizer (system to track and resolve customer issues) for the reallocation of materials such as network racks and trays, including E&O excess / obsolete or damaged goods. 
    • Manage Move Order Requests (MOR) for materials control and allocation and collaborate with logistics, warehousing, and technical operations teams.
    • Maintain supply outlook by reviewing inventory availability, requirements, highlighting shortages and developing resolution; minimize and mitigate excess and obsolete inventory risks Analyze data including Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution.
    • Collaborate closely with the Procurement team to monitor inventory levels and sourcing needs. 
    • Drive material availability to meet customer demand Support discontinuation process including identification, monitoring and minimizing write off costs.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

    • 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain & Operations Management
    • 2-5 years in Production Planning/Supply Chain Management/Master Scheduling Analytical skills 
    • MS Excel (Pivot Tables, v-lookup and other common functions; macros are a huge plus) SQL and scripting preferred (for reports)

     

     

    EDUCATION BACKGROUND: 

    • Industrial engineering (product / complex), Supply Chain Management, Logistics 
    • General attributes: Collaborates and works well in diverse teams Works well in ambiguous and sometimes chaotic environments Strong communicator (written and verbal).
    • Able to multitask and quick learner
