    Job Description

    WHAT THIS JOB ENTAILS: 

    The Compensation Analyst II will analyze Astreya’s pay structures. The hire will be responsible for analyzing employees’ experience and responsibilities, by doing comparative analysis by region and industry, and by taking the company's financial performance into consideration. The Compensation Analyst will establish compensation packages for new hires and position changes, as well as new roles created. 

    SCOPE: 

    • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues

    • Works on problems of moderate scope

    • Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects

    YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Effectively partner with managers, business leaders, HR, and Finance to consult, propose, and resolve compensation issues.

    • Support development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and programs

    • Analyze results and competitiveness of compensation programs through deep analysis and modeling of projections and program results

    • Audit jobs for content and prepare job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities and requirements

    • Manage job matching and participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position

    • Track, file (online), and ensure accuracy of plan documents, employee data, and processing of data

    • Develop custom reports, quarterly analytics, and workforce planning reporting to meet the requirements of HR, Finance, and business leaders

    • Effectively manage and maintain internal tools, systems, database files and tables

    • Review, interpret and recommend policy, process or program improvements

    • Manage special projects

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
    • Builds productive internal and external working relationships
    • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
    • Experience with HRIS Systems
    • Experience working in hi-tech industry
    • Excellent in Microsoft Excel

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Google Sheets and other GSuite products preferred

    PHYSICAL DEMAND & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing

    • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment

    • Must be able to use a computer

    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively 

    • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
