Astrobotic’s headquarters is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a second location in Mojave, California.

    Astrobotic Technology wants you to join our Supply Chain team, with responsibility for purchasing and general related functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Vendor selection, understanding of contracts, purchasing of Direct and MRO materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will also have experience communicating with Engineering teams, Candidates should anticipate that their responsibilities will evolve over time with the company’s growth.

    ** Responsibilities Include:**

    • Manage day to day purchasing functions with minimal supervision, such as:

    • Establish business partnerships with Vendors and Internal customers.

    • Maintains records, source information, and purchasing reference files; prepares correspondence and other written materials.

    • Communicate with Sourcing and Engineers on Quote/proposal details and terms to ensure liability coverage for Astrobotic.

    • Manage returns to Vendors using the RMA process. Collaborate with receiving on RTV’s in Costpoint and obtain credit or replacements for RTV materials.

    • Participate in the continuous improvement of the procurement process as well as other processes related to this job function using feedback from teams.

    • Facilitate setting up Vendors for use in CostPoint including establishing Credit Terms and Tax Exemption status where applicable.

    • Assist Accounting to reconcile invoice discrepancies including missing or incorrect invoices.

    • Assist in Inventory management strategies including Direct and Indirect materials.

    • Knowledge and understating of contract service agreements and Terms & Conditions of Purchase Orders. Paying attention to detail in this respect.

    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
    • 3-5 years relevant Supply Chain experience.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct business professionally.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong skills in Excel, Teams, and Outlook
    • Ability to comprehend Engineering drawings and fine print when required for placement of orders.
    • Ability to work for prolonged periods on a computer.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to respond to changing priorities.

    ** Desired Skills & Qualifications:**

    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint software.
    • Experience with Team Center Software
    • 10% travel may be required from time to time.

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and the candidates professional experience. Base salary is just one component of Astrobotic’s competitive total rewards strategy.
