We are looking for an aide that is energetic and loving that would be willing to work with our autistic 10-year-old son. This position would involve training from mother alongside other professionals from Nationwide Children's Hospital Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (NCH CASD). You would be aiding our son in functional skills, maintenance of skill sets, and skill acquisition utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) at our home. NCH CASD would provide program oversight with a senior registered behavioral technician (RBT) and access to a board-certified behavioral analyst (BCBA). We are looking for an individual that could come to our home in Grove City, OH from Monday through Friday from 4pm-6pm (10hrs a week). You would have all evenings and weekends off to enjoy your college life! I am also willing to hire two individuals (you and your friend), if you would like to split the hours and both gain this invaluable experience. You would be officially hired by an agency that provides 16 hours of training at the rate of $9.30 per hour to get your participant-directed home maker/personal care certification (PD HPC). After the completion of this training, you will be paid $18 per hour for all work completed in our home. The agency will also complete all the necessary HR paperwork for hiring and will administer bi-monthly paychecks. The remainder of the training will be conducted at our home. This position will also require a fingerprint background check through the hiring agency. The cost of this will be reimbursed by the family.
