    Instructional Aide | Part Time | Direct Hire | Cincinnati, OH

    We are looking for a visionary Instructional Aide who possesses the ability and/or willingness to become skilled in research based, blended teaching methodologies and strategies. Aides at our Academy work as an educational team developing a collaborative and collegial working environment where high expectations are set and maintained for students and staff alike. The goal set for every student must be graduation, which provides the gateway to confidence and becoming productive citizens of their communities and the world marketplace.

    Responsibilities :

    • Creates, administers, and resets student user accounts in the Learning Management System, online assessment system, and online curricular systems used in the Academy Program.
    • Upload data from the online assessment system to centralized servers for the Academy Program.
    • Provide guidance and instruction to students on how to use each of the curricular and diagnostic systems used in the Academy Program.
    • Work with individual students on how to use various software applications, and complete their personalized learning path.
    • Assists in running routine technology software maintenance patches.
    • Runs reports and analyzes data on student usage and progress in online curricular applications and assessments to report to the Academy team.
    • Assists with the supervision of students attending the Academy.
    • Serves as chief source of information and help to any substitute teacher assigned to the academy in the absence of the regular academy teacher.
    • Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers.
    • Participates in an in-service training program, as assigned.

    Qualifications :

    • Agreement with a Christian Statement of Faith
    • Knowledge of proper English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
    • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, and software applications.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
    • Preferred; AA degree, 48 upper division semester units, or higher.
    • Pre-employment clearance: Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI)

    Pay :

    $18-21/hr based on experience
