JOB SUMMARY
A local company with prestige is looking for an assistant catering manager! The role is part time with a chance to go full time in the future. This is a great opportunity to get in with a well known event organization in the Cincinnati area! They are looking for someone who has catering experience, a willingness to learn and grow!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help members, potential members & clients arrange banquets, luncheons, meetings, weddings, dances and other business/social events; obtains pertinent information needed for planning.
- Transmit necessary information to and coordinates event planning with management, culinary, serving and housekeeping staff; arranges for printing of menus, procuring of decorations, entertainment and other special requests, etc.
- Maintains past and potential client files; schedules calls or visits to assess ongoing needs of prospective clients for catering & event services.
- Responsible for completion of in-house banquet event orders (BEOs).
- Produces diagram room layout, banquet item placement and related function details.
- Meets with other department managers to plan food and beverage aspects of special events organized by the staff members.
- Updates weekly catering & event information for all affected staff.
- Serves as liaison between member/clients and other Club Staff.
- Maintains club's master calendar of events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience in catering/event planning preferred
- Experience in customer service and data entry
PAY:
$16/hr paid weekly
