    Job Description

    We are seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join a large, international Solar Energy Equipment!

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Answer inquiries for service sales opportunities
    • Qualify inbound inquiries and identify time-sensitive leads.
    • Lead planning, identification, proposal generation, and qualification of sales opportunities that have been approved by management
    • Provide research assistance specific to proposals in process, capture efforts in process and request for information and/or sources sought notices in process as requested by Sales Managers.
    • Account Support: Create, analyze, and manage project timelines, deadlines, and priorities.
    • Pricing calculations for projects and portfolios in the Americas.
    • Coordinate with Account Managers in Service Sales, project estimators, risk owners in Global Service Operations and Operations & Supply Chain Management.
    • Participation as specialist during RFP process and contract negotiation phase
    • Accountability for service products success from pre-sales through end-of-contract by means of accurate price calculations and scope of work definitions, utilizing Product Lifecycle framework (product documentation, market evaluation, data aggregation, pricing, and strategy development) and proper state-of-the-art product management tools.

    ​QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration – with a focus on product management and product sales coordination.
    • At least 1-3 years of experience in an Inside Sales role are required
    • Prior experience in sales administration and/or customer service is preferred.
    • Experience with SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is strongly preferred.
    • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (esp. Excel) is a must.
    • Knowledge of VBA is preferred.
    • Knowledge of cost and activity accounting as well as price calculation methods are required
    • Knowledge of solar energy industry and/or sales administration for a consumer product company.
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.
    • Excellent communication skills are required.
    • Excellent customer service skills are required.
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
    • This position may require periodic domestic and international travel.
    • Willingness to work in an international and intercultural team across time zones.
